Disney officials retreat after glam makeover of Disney princess Merida sparks protest
CHICAGO — Disney has removed the "sexier" version of the 11th princess Merida. Instead of the tom-boy persona she has in the Disney movie Brave, her new look was curvier with heavier makeup. Disney received a large amount of backlash from the makeover, including an online petition with more than 200,000 signatures.
